    Why Danny Amendola Called Out Tom Brady During Disney Night on ‘DWTS’

    Danny Amendola never got to celebrate his Super Bowl wins with a trip to Disney World, but he finally had his magical moment last night on “Dancing with the Stars.”

    The two-time Super Bowl champion and former New England Patriots wide receiver danced in the fifth competition round of the show on Tuesday night.

    For Tuesday’s show, each star performed routines based on iconic Disney films.

    Together with his professional partner Witney Carson, Amendola danced a jazz inspired by a fight scene from Marvel’s film “Deadpool & Wolverine”.

    Amendola said the theme of the evening reminded him of Disney’s Super Bowl tradition in the NFL.

    “A Disney tradition I love is hearing someone from the Super Bowl winning team say, ‘I’m going to Disneyland,’” Amendola said. “Some of my friends have to say it – Deion Branch, Julian Edelman – but I never got to say it because I played with Tom Brady.”

    Danny Amendola and his partner Witney Carson danced some jazz to NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye” from the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine” on “Dancing with the Stars” last night.

    “‘Deadpool’ is full of action, full of fight scenes. It’s hilarious,” Amendola said. “One of my favorite movies of all time.”

    Although Amendola never got his Disney moment at the Super Bowl, he embraced the “Dancing with the Stars” theme.

    “I’m going to Disney night tonight,” Amendola said.

    Last night, the eight remaining stars also performed team dances. They were split into two teams of four stars each.

    Danny Amendola was on Team Roar with Dwight Howard, Stephen Nedoroscik and Phaedra Parks.

    Team Roar danced to “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” from “The Lion King.”

    The team scored 24/30, with all three judges – Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli – giving them eight out of ten. The team scores were combined with each individual star’s score.

    Danny Amendola scored a 27/30 for his jazz on “Dancing with the Stars” last night.

    All three judges – Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli – gave him nine out of ten.

    Combined with the team dance score, Amendola’s total score for Disney night was 51/60.

    He finished in fourth place that night, tied with Jenn Tran.

    Who was eliminated from ‘DWTS’ last night?

    On last night’s episode of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, reality TV star Phaedra Parks was eliminated from the competition.

    The elimination was decided by a combination of the judges’ scores and the viewers’ votes.

    There are seven teams left in the competition.
