Will Jamal Murray play tonight? Latest injury update for Heat at Nuggets November 8

The Denver Nuggets are coming off their best win of the season, a 124-122 victory over the Thunder. Denver was without Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon, which made the dub that much more impressive.

The Nuggets are on a three-game win streak and hope to extend that streak even further on Friday against the Heat. Miami is 3-4 on the season and enters the game on a two-game losing streak. The Heat lost to the Suns 115-112 on Wednesday. Tyler Herro led Miami with 28 points on 9-for-15 shooting from the field and 5-for-9 from three. Haywood Highsmith dropped 29 off the bench.

Even though the Heat are a year removed from playing the Nuggets in the 2023 NBA Finals, that loss should still sting. Denver cannot approach the game lightly. It helps that Jamal Murray is listed as questionable. He suffered a concussion in the third quarter of last Friday’s loss to Minnesota. He hasn’t played since.

Russell Westbrook scored a season-high 29 points (10-of-15 shooting) in Murray’s place in the starting lineup on Wednesday. The former MVP has had his ups and downs early in the season, but Murray has had his ups and downs as well. Hopefully Murray can play and prove his doubters wrong.

Jamal Murray (concussion) is listed as questionable.

UPDATE: Jamal Murray is available.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. (stomach disease) is listed as questionable. He missed Miami’s last two games.

UPDATE: Jaime Jaquez Jr. is out.

Jamal Murray (concussion) is questionable. Aaron Gordon (calf), Vlatko Cancar (ankle) and DaRon Holmes (Achilles) are out.

UPDATE: Jamal Murray is available.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. (disease) is questionable. Kevin Love (personal) is out.

UPDATE: Jaime Jaquez Jr. is out.
