Will Zach Bryan really stop touring in 2025?

Zach Bryan has a lot on his mind as he closes out 2024.

Between his highly publicized breakup with Brianna Chickenfry and his recently announced plans to pursue a master’s degree in Paris in 2025, big changes are in store for the singer, both in his personal and professional life.

So when he told fans on social media that he was “quitting touring” to focus on his higher education abroad, many fans wondered if there was each possibilities to see Bryan perform live at all in 2025.

But Bryan isn’t stepping away from life on stage – at least not completely. On Monday night (November 13), he announced that he has been booked to perform at MetLife Stadium in New York City next July.

That concert will be a headlining show with support from Tennessee-based rock group Kings of Leon, and will take place on July 20, 2025. Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public on Friday (November 15).

In his announcement, Bryan said it has “always been a dream” to play this stadium, and quoted a line from Kings of Leon’s “Back Down South,” a song from their 2010 album. Come around sunset album.

He also reminded fans that shows like this will be few and far between in 2025, saying, “One of the few shows we’ll be playing next year. See you soon!”

Will Zach Bryan play any other concerts in 2025?

  • According to his tour calendar, Bryan’s headlining performance is one of four shows he is currently scheduled to play next year.
  • He is booked for a headlining set at the Stagecoach Festival of Indio, California in late April.
  • The other two dates on Bryan’s books are back-to-back weekend dates in London’s Hyde Park in June.
  • He has 18 dates left before 2025 as part of his 2024 Quittin’ Time Tour.

An empty tour calendar is not what fans of the singer are used to. In 2024, he toured extensively in support of his most recent album release, The great American bar scene.

But even though Bryan has said he won’t tour again next year — or, at the very least, will cut back substantially — that doesn’t mean he’s declaring a moratorium on releasing new music.

In the weeks since his breakup at the end of October alone, Bryan has released two new songs. Those releases led to speculation that he might use music to comment on his divorce from Chickenfry, as well as her accusations that he emotionally abused her over the course of the relationship.
