The Russian war in Ukraine, which is approaching its thousandth day, must end in 2025, the Ukrainian president says Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview that aired Saturday.

“For our part, we must do everything we can so that this war ends next year through diplomatic channels. This is very important,” Zelensky told the Suspilne radio station.
