I’m writing this before the Carolina Panthers take on the Las Vegas Raiders. If that game didn’t put you off football forever and you stayed tuned on Sunday night, you’ll get the chance to see the Panthers’ division rival, the Atlanta Falcons, take on the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. The Falcons pulled off a dramatic Monday night win over the Eagles in the most anti-Falcons way possible. We’ll see if they can do the same against Patrick Mahomes.

The Falcons have been hot and cold, with a little more cold than hot to start the season. Yet they managed to pull a victory out of nowhere when visiting Philadelphia. It was a win that closely resembled the one they won against the Chiefs, and now they host the Chiefs as three-point underdogs. The Chiefs are 2-0, but they have not been dominant. They came within a whisker of overtime against the Ravens and needed a defensive pass interference on 4th and 16 to extend their game-winning drive in Week 2.

It has all the makings of a game-clinching last-second goal, so I give the Falcons +3.
