The Green Bay Packers turned a pair of turnovers to 14 points in the third quarter and held on to defeat the Los Angeles Rams, 24-19

Xavier McKinney intercepted his fifth pass and recovered a fumble. Both turnovers led to touchdowns. The Packers also had three sacks.

With Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs out, Jayden Reed and Tucker Kraft combined for 164 yards receiving and two touchdowns

On 3rd and 1, Williams carries the ball for 7 yards and first down at the 38. a blitz forces an incompletion on 2nd and 10, forcing a third down. It appears Stafford hits Parkinson for the first down, but the ball is marked short, taking the game to the 2-minute warning. Kyren Williams is initially stopped but he moves the pile for the first down. Whittington then catches a short five yard pass after replay reversed an incompletion with 1:23 left at the 38. Stafford is sacked for a seven yard loss by Brooks and Preston Smith setting up a 3rd and 12 at the Packers 45. The Rams take their final timeout. Stafford hits Parkinson for eight yards setting up a 4th and 5. Pressure up the middle from Cooper forces Stafford to throw a bit early and the ball falls incomplete. The Packers will win, 24-19.

Jacobs picks 13 yards on the first play. The Rams take a time out. An incompletion stops the clock at 3:20. On 2nd and 10, a stretch play to Jacobs gets nothing setting uo a 3rd and 10. The Rams take their second timeout. Love goes deep off his back foot and Wicks has Williams beat, but he recovers to knock the ball away and the Packers have to punt. The Rams will get the ball at the 29 with 2:57 left. Whelan’s punt went only 29 yards.

On 3rd and 2 from the 17, Williams gets a carry and rushes 7 yards for the first down. Whittington then catches a pass for nine yards. and then Stafford finds him again at the sidelines for 17 yards. With the ball at the 33, Stafford hits Atwell three straight times to advance the ball to the 11. On 2nd and goal, Valentine is flagged for pass interference in the end zone setting up a 1-yd reception to Robinson. The Rams go for two points to cut the lead to 3 points but a sweep to Atwell to the other side of the field fails and the Packers lead 24-19 with 3:30 left.

Two 10-yard completions to Wicks and Kraft after short runs by Jacobs give the Packers a pair of first downs and the ball at the 32. A false start backs the offense up five yards. On 3rd and 12, Love avoids pressure and scrambles for a first down at the 42. Jacobs picks up eight yards on the next play and then gets four more yards. On 3rd and 5 from the Rams 41, LA jumps offsides and the Packers get an automatic first down. A false start and two incompletions set up a 3rd and 15 from the 41. The Rams bring the house and though a screen is completed to Wilson, but it loses nine yards. Whelan punts and the Rams start at their own 9. The Packers did keep the ball for eight minutes despite not scoring and they are in great shape with 6:02 to play

Two short passes and a five yard run by Corum on 3rd and 1 give the Rams a first down at the 42. McKinney nearly intercepts Stafford again on the next play. on 2nd and 10 Stafford finds Robinson at the sidelines for a catch on a curl route and a first down at the Packers 47. A screen pass loses five yards however setting up 2nd and 15. A catch by Hunter Long for a few yards sets up a 3rd and long as the quarter ends. Karl Brooks sacks Stafford for an eight-yard loss and the Rams are forced to punt. Reed fair catches a 44-yard punt and the Packers start at their own 7.

On 2nd and 8 from the 41, a screen to Jacobs produces a chunk play of 21 yards. Two runs by Wilson for 11 total yards get the ball to the 14. Jacobs then gets the ball inside the 9 before Jacobs carries to the 7. On the next play, Kraft finds the end zone again after a 7-yard catch and run for his second score of the quarter. The Packers lead, 24-13 with 14 points off McKinney;s takeaways.

After Stafford misses on a deep throw to Atwell down the sidelines, he hits his tight end Parkinson for the first down at the 38. An 11-yard reception by Xavier Smith gives on second down moves the chains again to the Packers 48, but on 3rd and 10 after two incompletions, Stafford’s deep throw is picked off by McKinney, who now has five interceptions on the season. The Packers start from their own 46 with 8:01 left in the quarter.

After a four-yard gain by Jacobs, Love finds Tucker Kraft in space down the sidelines and he runs 66-yards for a go-ahead score. Seven points off the turnover gives the Packers a 17-13 lead.

A 38-yard catch and run by Jordan Whittington puts the Rams in business ant the Packers 31, but a couple plays later, a fumble by Kyren Williams is recovered by Xavier McKinney. The ball was punched out by Kingsley Engabare. The Packers start at the their own 30

On 3rd and 4 from the 36 with 2 minutes left, Love quick snaps the Rams and gets an automatic first down due to 12-men on the field. He then hits Bo Melton and Malik Heath for a total of 19 yards and then Reed finds open space for 18 yards with 1:03 left. Jacobs gets three yards on the next play before the Packers call timeout with 37 seconds left and the ball at the Rams 19. With Love under pressure a screen to Reed is incomplete and a lateral. Reed hits the ball out of bounds and the Packers lose 19 yards. After a 10-second runoff, On 3rd and 26 with 21 seconds left, Wicks picks up 10 yards to make the field goal attempt closer. Brayden Narveson kicks a 46-yard field goal to make it 13-10 at halftime.

A false start hurts the Packers dearly as it backs them up inside the 10 and on 3rd and 12 from the 8, Love is russhed while in the end zone and while trying to avoid a safety makes a poor throw intended for Kraft that is picked off for a touchdown by Jaylen McCullough. However the extra point is missed and the Rams lead, 13-7.

The Rams drive the ball from their own 30 to the Packers’ 29, but Quay Walker and Evan Williams stop Kyren Williams for a six yard loss setting up a third and 16. Edgerrin Cooper then sacks Stafford for a 9 yard loss and it takes the Rams out of field goal range. The Packers get the ball back at there own 10-yard line with 3:06 left in the quarter.

Jacobs is dropped for a four-yard loss on 2nd and 10, setting up a 3rd and 14 from their own 26. A jump pass to Kraft avoids a blitz, but it only gains five yards and the Rams get the ball back at their own 30-yard line after a punt.

Blake Corum carries for 12 yards, but a false start on the next snap puts them on the Packers’ 48. A four yard grab by Tutu Atwell and an 8 yard run by Corum set up a 3rd and 3 as the quarter ends. Williams returns to the backfield on third down and is stopped short, but nifty footwork on 4th down gets Williams gets him the first down. Seven more yards by Williams sets up a 2nd and 3 from the 24, Stafford throws deep to DeMarcus Robinson but Keisean Nixon is there to break it up in the end zone. Williams picks up a first down on 3rd and 3 after an eight-yard gain and then Atwell gets a carry for seven to take the ball to the Green Bay 9. Corum carries for five on first down and 4 on second down. Williams replaces Corum and cores a 1-yard touchdown to tie the game. He has 56 yards on nine carries.

With 3:24 left in the quarter, Emmanuel Wilson gets eight yards on a pair of carries, but Reed drops a sure first down and the Packers have to punt from the 13. Whelan gets off just a 37-yard kick, but the Rams are called for holding and will start from their 45 with 1:57 left to play in the quarter.

Matt Stafford comes out throwing and throws a couple of completions for 32 yards. Kyren Williams then takes a carry 30 yards down the sidelines. On first and goal from the 8, the Stafford throws incompletions on third and fourth down and the Packers hold in the red zone and take over.

On 2nd and 3 from the 11, the Packers move the sticks for the first time after a four-yard rush by Jacobs. Jacobs gets seven more yards on 2nd and 6 and then Jayden Reed comes in motion to carry the ball n first down and he picks up eight yards. The offensive line creates a nice crease for Jacobs on the next play for eight more yards and then Love throws incomplete to Kraft. On 2nd and 10 from the 45, Love throws a deep jump ball for Jayden Reed and he grabs the ball at its highest point near traffic at the 2-yard line. Jacobs gets around the corner on the next snap for the touchdown and the Packers lead, 7-0 with 6:52 to play in the quarter.

A six-yard catch on second down by tight end is the only positive play for the Rams in three downs as both teams fail to move the chains on their first possessions.

The Packers open at the 30 and Jordan Love immediately tries to get Dontayvion Wicks involved, bit the ball is off target. Josh Jacobs carries for three yards on the next snap and on 3rd and 7, Love is sacked for a 8-yard loss. Daniel Whelan comes on to punt and after a 41-yard kick, the Rams will start from the 34.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander (groin), receiver Christian Watson (ankle) and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt (ankle) are inactive with injuries Sunday. Watson was listed as doubtful while Wyatt was ruled out Friday. Alexander, who will miss his second straight game, was listed as questionable on the last injury report of this week.

The Packers will have cornerback Carrington Valentine available Sunday after he missed the past two games with an ankle injury. Tight end Luke Musgrave is also active after being listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Musgrave did not participate in practice this week, meaning his role against the Rams may be limited.
