After the Minnesota Lynx eliminated the Connecticut Sun in five games earlier this week, the WNBA Finals game was scheduled. The Lynx will take on the New York Liberty for the W crown in a five-game series that begins Thursday and could stretch through Sunday, October 20.

The Liberty return to the finals after falling to the Las Vegas Aces in four games last year. The Lynx, meanwhile, are back in the final round after six such appearances between 2011 and 2017. They won four WNBA titles during that span.

The revival of an old dynasty in Minnesota? Or the start of a new one in New York, where the Liberty have never won a single WNBA championship? These two questions and many more will be answered as the games get underway.

Game 1 will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. on Thursday evening. Here you can see how much it would cost you to see Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, Napheesa Collier and the rest of the stars on the biggest stage in the W.

At the time of writing, the average ticket price for Game 1 of the WNBA Finals, as listed on Ticketmaster, is somewhere between $250 and $300. For example, a ticket in Section 25, which is in the lower bowl and parallel to one basket, currently retails for $292. Seats closer to the center of the lane cost about $250.

But of course those are not the only choices. Especially if you just want to come in.

If the goal is to go to Barclays and watch the match without regard to the quality of the seats, there are still plenty of affordable options available. At the time of writing, seats on the arena’s 200 level, which are in the upper bowl, are available for just $43. The most expensive 200 level seat available still costs just $99.

A great option for fans who don’t want to spend a lot of money to see the game in real life.

At the other end of the spectrum, there are some very expensive tickets on sale as a tip to the Lynx and Liberty, a few inches closer. The most expensive seat for Game 1 currently stands at $4,674, which gets you a right-side seat under one of the baskets. Another $4,000 ticket puts you on the track opposite one of the team benches.

Prices drop a little after that huge number, but not much. Floor seating is available from $1,300 to $1,900. After that, prices drop steeply to the $500 range for the best seats in the lower bowl.

It should be a great series wherever you look.
