Some Yankees fans at a Bronx sports bar reacted gleefully after seeing Shohei Ohtani injured during Game 2 of the World Series Saturday night at Dodger Stadium.

Ohtani was expected to get an MRI on Sunday, although Dodgers manager Dave Roberts seemed optimistic after the game.

“The force was great,” Roberts said Saturday evening. “The range of motion (was) good. So we are encouraged. But of course I can’t speculate about that, because we don’t have the scans yet.”

Roberts also said he felt “much better” about Ohtani’s status for the remainder of the World Series after initially being concerned.

Ohtani went 0-for-3 with a walk in Game 2 after finishing 1-for-5 with a double and a run in Game 1.
