Cowboys QB out after hamstring injury

ATLANTA – Dak Prescott’s day in Atlanta is over.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback was ruled out early in the fourth quarter due to a hamstring injury. He was replaced by Cooper Rush.

Prescott was apparently injured while completing a pass on the Cowboys’ final possession of the third quarter, when he was seen wincing in pain after throwing an incompletion. Rush entered the game on the next series, with the Cowboys trailing the Falcons, 27-13, and likely headed for a third straight loss.

Through three quarters, Prescott completed 18 of 24 passes for 133 yards with touchdowns, no interceptions and a passer rating of 101.6. He was also sacked three times and rushed three times for 30 yards, including a 22-yard run.
