USMNT vs. Jamaica Concacaf Nations League Quarter-Final: How to Watch

play

The U.S. national soccer team will play its first meaningful match of the Mauricio Pochettino era against Jamaica on Thursday evening in the first leg of the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals.

When we last saw Pochettino’s USMNT, they were being outscored by Mexico in a friendly at Estadio Akron in Zapopan, near Guadalajara, Mexico. That unwanted result came three days after Pochettino, on his USMNT debut, recorded a 2-0 win over Panama in a friendly in Austin, Texas.

Now the stakes are higher. The USMNT are three-time defending champions of the Concacacf Nations League, winning the competition in 2021, 2023 and 2024.

The two-game series against Jamaica concludes Sunday when the U.S. hosts Jamaica at Energizer Park in St. Louis.

The other Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals are Costa Rica vs. Panama, Suriname vs. Canada and Honduras vs. Mexico. The semifinals and finals will be held March 20-23 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
