4 shots fired into Midtown Reno bar, suspect still at large

Police are still searching for the suspect who shot four people at a Midtown bar early Saturday morning.

Reno Police Department officers responded to Shea’s Tavern on the 700 block of S. Virginia St. just after midnight on Nov. 2 for the report of shots fired in the area.

Upon arrival, officers located four victims with apparent gunshot wounds and immediately began rendering medical aid. REMSA arrived on the scene and all victims were transported to hospital. Their circumstances are unknown at this time.

The suspect in this shooting is still unknown. Authorities say they believe this is an isolated incident without any threat to the public.

More than two dozen police officers and other first responders could be seen outside the bar in the hours after the shooting.

The scene is still active as of 11.30am on Saturday as police investigate. Reno Police are asking people to avoid the area of ​​S. Virginia St., off California Ave. to Cheney, to avoid.
