Airport, bridge, pipeline fires: Southern California wildfires now raging

At least four fires are burning within 100 miles of Los Angeles. Here’s a quick look at where they are and what you need to know.

Fire on bridge

The bridge fire broke out Sunday afternoon in the Angeles National Forest northeast of Glendora in the East Fork of San Gabriel Canyon. By Tuesday evening, the fire had grown to thousands of acres and was burning out of control. Mandatory evacuations had been expanded, including in Wrightwood and Palmdale.
