I’ve been a diehard Molly Gordon fan – Gordonite? Gordonista? – since I saw her make out with Rachel Sennott in Emma Seligman’s 2020 film Shiva babyand my obsession was deeply confirmed in 2023 Theater campa witty and genuinely moving mockumentary about a performing arts camp in the Adirondacks that 28-year-old Gordon co-directed, and also starred as a dippy, clog-wearing music instructor inexplicably yet perfectly named Rebecca-Diane. (The image of Ben Platt entering a room looking for Gordon’s character and shouting “Becks-Di?” may never leave my mind.) I have to admit, even though I’m there, I like White for her pretty sure her first move will be to make him throw away the two packs of what appear to be American Spirits he’s holding in their makeout photo. (I don’t know, I just get a ‘will make you quit smoking’ energy from her, but that’s not a criticism; pricking friends saves lungs and lives!)

While it’s unclear when White and Gordon’s romance began, White has only been separated from his ex-wife, actress Addison Timlin, since May 2023, after which he was briefly involved with model Ashley Moore before being spotted with Rosalía in Los Angeles. You could accuse him of moving on quite quickly, but is that really that bad? (Remember, I’m a divorce stan, so of course I’m also pro-rebound in many, but not all, cases.) Gordon, for her part, is said to have dated her Theater camp co-director Nick Lieberman indefinitely, but to be honest, even my CIA-level Google celebrity and romance skills couldn’t turn up much else about her romantic history. But why shouldn’t Gordon making her A-list dating debut with someone as bedroom-eyed and in-demand as White? Theater girls for the win!
