Two Phoenix bands will play Coachella 2025 when it returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, for two weekends, April 11-13 and 18-20, with Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone and Travis Scott headlining the festival .

Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong told Billboard: “Death, taxes and… rock ‘n’ roll. In this world gone sideways, we know one thing for sure: rock ‘n’ roll is forever, and its spirit is needed now more than ever. So bring your anger, your hope, and your loudest voice. Coachella, let’s have the time of our lives.’

The lineup was announced on Wednesday, November 20, following Malone’s announcement earlier this week that his 2025 Big Ass Stadium Tour will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ.

Fresh off playing VIVA PHX, Phoenix shoegazers Glixen shared the news in an Instagram post that they will be on Friday’s lineup, writing, “This is definitely a dream come true.

Friday’s bill is headlined by Lady Gaga and also features Missy Elliott, Benson Boone, the Marias, LISA, Prodigy, Parcels, FKA Twigs, Mustard, Mau P, GloRilla, the Go-Go’s and more.

Fresh off their own day proclaimed by Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, Jimmy Eat World will play on Saturday, a lineup rounded out by Green Day featuring Charli ENHYPEN, Japanese breakfast and more.

Attendees of the 2023 and 2024 Coachella festivals will receive early access beginning Thursday, November 21 at noon. Presale tickets for Coachella 2025 go on sale Friday, November 22 at 12 noon. Register now for the presale on the Coachella website.
