NOTES

Ja’Marr reaches 1K

Ja’Marr Chase reached 1,000 season-high receiving yards early in the first quarter, when he grabbed his first catch of the night for a gain of 32 yards to help set up an Evan McPherson field goal.

Chase became the sixth player in NFL history to reach 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first four career seasons, joining Randy Moss, AJ Green, Mike Evans, Michael Thomas and Justin Jefferson. He also ranks alongside Thomas as the only player in league history to reach 70+ receptions and 1,000+ yards in each of his first four years.

Chase finished Sunday’s game with seven catches for 75 yards and two touchdowns as he continues to lead the league in every category.

Uno passes 40

Joe Burrow connected with Chase on fourth-and-goal midway through the third quarter for Cincinnati’s first touchdown of the night. It was Chase’s 11th touchdown of the season and 40th of his career.

Chase played in his 56th regular season game and became the fifth fastest player in NFL history to reach 40 receiving touchdowns. The only players to reach that goal in fewer games are Jerry Rice (44 games), Randy Moss (44), Rob Gronkowski (47) and Odell Beckham Jr. (54).

Chase’s two touchdowns brought his career total to 41, which ranks former receiver Eddie Brown for fifth-most in Bengals history. Sunday night also marked Chase’s 10th career multiple-touchdown game, tied with Isaac Curtis for third-most in team history. Only Chad Johnson and Carl Pickens (13 each) had more.
