Blake Snell signs five-year, $182 million deal with Dodgers

Left-handed pitcher Blake Snell signs with the Dodgers.

The now former Giants starter agreed to a five-year contract worth $182 million, The Post’s John Heyman confirmed this.

The deal is pending a physical and Snell will receive a $52 million signing bonus, according to Heyman.

The deal with the Dodgers includes “some” deferred money, The Athletic reported.

The former Cy Young winner is coming off a season in which he went 5-3 for San Francisco with a 3.12 ERA in 20 starts.

Snell struck out 145 batters over the course of 104 innings pitched and was able to turn things around in the second half of the season after a slow start to the year due to injury.

The left-hander had a 9.51 ERA through six starts in July with the Giant.

He returned from an IL stint in early July and posted a 1.23 ERA in his final 14 starts of the season.

Snell had entered the offseason as one of the top free agents on the market.
