An 11-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being attacked at a school in Angus.

Officers were called to the school, which cannot be named to protect the identity of the child, around 2:55 p.m. Tuesday.

A 17-year-old boy and a 34-year-old woman have been charged in connection with the incident and will appear at Forfar Sheriff Court at a later date.

A 12-year-old girl has also been reported to the authorities.

Police said the boy was taken to hospital for treatment after the incident.
