Brie Larson Says She’s ‘Not OK’ After Meeting Chappell Roan While Hanging Out With Saoirse Ronan

Brie Larson said things were ‘not okay’ after meeting Chappell Roan while hanging out with Saoirse Ronan.

On Thursday, the 35-year-old actress took to Instagram to share photos of herself, Ronan and their friends meeting Roan after one of her recent concerts in Europe.

In the group photos, Larson was crying with her arms around Roan, born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, and Kara Amstutz, the singer’s mother.

The Captain Marvel star — who put on a leggy show in a pink tweed miniskirt at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation in August — and her friends were all decked out in red for Roan’s The Midwest Princess Tour show.

“At the same time not okay and never been better,” she wrote alongside a red heart emoji as she captioned her triptych as she tried to explain how she felt about meeting the singer.

Her cheeks were pink and a super wide grin appeared on his face.

Larson wore a crimson red cowboy hat decorated with feathers and a black crop top that read, “I (love) me.”

As seen in the selfies she posted on September 26, she also wore red fishnet tights covered in glittering sequins and a leather miniskirt.

She also wore black leather cowboy boots and tied a bandana around her neck to complete her concert look.

This comes after it was reported that Larson will make her West End debut in a revival of Greek tragedy Elektra in early 2025.

The Oscar-winning actress will star in the adaptation of a Sophocles play, translated by poet Anne Carson and directed by Oklahoma!’s Daniel Fish.

Elektra will be at the Theater Royal Brighton in January before moving to the Duke of York’s Theater in London for an 11-week season.

Upon announcing the news, Larson said she “couldn’t be more excited,” according to Variety.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be performing in this Greek drama, or working in better company with Daniel Fish and Anne Carson,” she said.

‘Storytelling has always been the way I organize my life, feelings and experiences. I look forward to sharing the space with the incredible West End audiences as we explore this timeless story.”

Elektra follows a woman haunted by the murder of her father.

In the play, written by the ancient Greek tragedy player around 420 BC, she is consumed by grief, a need to survive and a thirst for revenge.

When her long-lost brother Orestes finally returns, she urges him to a cruel and terrifying conclusion.

The production will be staged in Brighton from January 13 to 18, before moving to London from January 24 to April 12.
