“The Centennial Game will be a special moment for our organization and, more importantly, for our fans, so the jersey design had to be appropriate for the occasion,” Bruins president Cam Neely said in a statement. “There are so many elements for both fans and players to enjoy, but my favorite part of the shirt is on the bottom; When our players pull this shirt over their heads, they will see our core values: tradition, courage, passion and heart. These are the values we have embodied for a century and will carry with us for the next generation, which begins on December 1.”

The uniform resembles the black home jerseys the team wore last season, which were also designed for the centennial celebration. It is the yellow spoke B that was used in the 1970s and 1980s. The right shoulder features a gold patch with a Centennial logo. The sleeves and sock have longer pieces of gold, but fewer stripes than the 2023-2024 versions.

The collar displays the date and score of the franchise’s first game, played at the Boston Arena (now at Northeastern) on December 1, 1924 – Boston Bruins 2, Montreal Maroons 1. In the bottom seam are the core values of the team: tradition, courage, passion and heart.

The Bruins have not announced whether they will wear these jerseys at any other time this season.
