Bills head coach Sean McDermott has done that ruled out DT Ed Oliver (hamstring) before Monday night’s game at the Jets. This will be Oliver’s second straight match missed due to injury.

McDermott said WR Khalil Shakir (ankle), RB James Cook (foot/toe), CB Taron Johnson (forearm) and DT Austin Johnson (oblique) will be limited in Saturday’s practice. All four players are listed as doubtful for Monday’s game.

“We’ll just see how it goes today in practice,” McDermott said of their status.

WR Curtis Samuel (foot/toe) and WR Mack Hollins (shoulder) were limited in practice this week, but McDermott expects them to practice today and play Monday.

In Oliver’s case, McDermott doesn’t think the team needs to place the DT on injured reserve.

“I don’t think so, I think he’s going in the right direction,” McDermott said. “I’m hopeful for next week, we’ll just have to see.”
