‘Dancing With The Stars’ Dedication Night Scores: Who Went Home During Week 5 Elimination?

In the Tuesday, October 15 episode of Dancing with the starsthe couples returned to the ballroom for Dedication Night, where they performed heartfelt dances dedicated to the special people or institutions that influenced their lives.

This week the judges visited the couples to assess their progress and provide feedback as the competition reached the halfway point. The partner dances include Contemporary, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Salsa, Argentine Tango and Foxtrot.

Dedication Night also saw Hayley Hough’s emotional return to the DWTS ballroom. The Group alum experienced a serious health crisis last December when she was hospitalized due to a brain hematoma.

Hayley underwent a craniectomy, a major operation to remove part of the skull, and had to learn to walk and dance again. She delivered a heartfelt performance alongside her husband, judge Derek Hough, in an acoustic rendition of Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things.”

Three-time Mirrorball champion and former pro Mark Ballas also returned DWTS as a guest judge on Tuesday evening. Read on to see all the Dedication Night scores and find out which couple was sent home during this week’s episode.

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong

Scores: 32 (8, 8, 8, 8)

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong sang a contemporary of Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance.” The judges described the dance as “beautiful” and “ethereal” and complimented Chandler’s beautiful lines. However, Derek and Mark pointed out some stumbling blocks during the lift and noticed that the side-by-side sections were out of sync. Bruno and Carrie Ann also encouraged her to delve deeper into the emotion of the dance and “let it all out.”

Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold

Scores: 33 (8, 9, 8, 8)

Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold performed an Argentine tango to “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes. Bruno said, “You were a good student,” adding that Stephen was focused throughout the dance. Carrie Ann agreed the routine was impactful, while Derek and Mark loved how he stepped up and showed intensity. As for improvements, they noted that he was a little wobbly and could improve his frame.

Danny Amendola and Witney Carson

Scores: 36 (9, 9, 9, 9)

Danny Amendola and Witney Carson played Contemporary on “Unsteady (Erich Lee Gravity Remix)” by X Ambassadors. The judges all agreed that this was a groundbreaking achievement for the football star. Derek praised Danny for throwing himself into the art form, while Mark said he could see how dedicated he was to the routine. Bruno called the dance his best performance of the season so far.

Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach

Scores: 29 (7, 8, 7, 7)

Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach performed a Rumba to “Shoot For The Stars” that Dwight recorded himself. “Your heart is so big,” Derek said, adding that he noted the basketball player’s impressive arm work. Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy

Scores: 32 (8, 8, 8, 8)

Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy performed a Rumba to “Because You Loved Me” by Céline Dion. Bruno praised the dance and said, “That’s what you have to do.” Carrie Ann called her a great communicator on the dance floor. Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson

Scores: 36 (9, 9, 9, 9)

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson performed a Viennese waltz to “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims. Derek added that he was glad the accident happened last week because of what that moment brought out in her tonight. “That was graceful, that was soft, that was beautiful,” said Mark. Meanwhile, Bruno called it a “total redemption.”

Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber

Scores: 32 (8, 8, 8, 8)

Mark added that he would have liked the dance to go more smoothly. Bruno agreed, adding that she would occasionally lose her body. Carrie Ann concluded that she wants the former Bachelorette to tighten up as the competition progresses toward the halfway mark.

Who was eliminated in Dancing with the stars Week 5?

Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko were eliminated in Week 5 Dancing with the stars. They received the lowest combination of jury scores and viewer votes during Dedication Night.

“It was amazing and we had so much fun,” said Nader when asked how much working with Gleb has meant to her.

Gleb thanked Brooks for a great season. “It was so unexpected. I thought we were going to win,” he told her. “I enjoyed working with you so much. You are super talented, and I love you.”

When Julianne asked if she was a little shocked, Nader replied that she may have accidentally manifested the elimination after jokingly telling Gleb, “Imagine if it was us.”

Last week, viewers said goodbye to Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart, along with Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater, who had the combined lowest scores for Soul Train night and Hair Metal night.
