The Dodgers won the National League pennant on Monday, which immediately gave them a lead into the 2024 World Series. But it also means that Dave Roberts will also lead the National League in the 2025 MLB All-Star Game.

Next year’s Midsummer Classic will be played at Truist Park on July 15, the third time Atlanta will host the All-Star Game, joining 1972 and 2000. The Braves also hosted the game in 1955 in Milwaukee and in 1936 in Boston .

Roberts, whose four pennants among active Major League managers trail only Bruce Bochy, also officiated the All-Star Game in 2018 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., in 2019 at Progressive Field in Cleveland and in 2021 at Coors Field in Denver.

Roberts also served on Braves manager Brian Snitker’s National League coaching staff in 2022 when the All-Star Game took place at Dodger Stadium.

This is Roberts’ ninth season as manager of the Dodgers, with an 851-506 (.627) mark for a pace of nearly 102 wins over 162 games. It’s the best winning percentage of anyone who played at least four seasons with the Dodgers. Roberts also has the fifth-best winning percentage in Major League history, and the best since integration (1947-present).

His four pennants are the most by a Dodgers manager in their first nine years, one more than both Walt Alston (1954-62) and Tommy Lasorda (1977-85).
