Dodgers details for fans attending NLCS Games 6 and 7 at Dodger Stadium

LOS ANGELES – For fans coming to Dodger Stadium for Game 6 of the National League Championship Series, here are details on how to get to the ballpark, as well as pregame festivities for the final game(s) of Dodgers vs. Mets.

Game 6 is scheduled for a 5:08 PM PT first pitch, gates to the parking lot at Dodger Stadium will open at 2:08 PM, and gates to enter the stadium will open at 2:38 PM

Bill Russell will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Sunday prior to Game 6. The longtime shortstop and member of The Infield was a Dodger for eighteen seasons, delivering the walk-off single in Game 4 of the 1978 NLCS, one of five National League pennants the Dodgers captured at Dodger Stadium.

Angie Fisher sings the national anthem prior to Game 6.

If the Dodgers lose on Sunday, Game 7 will have the same start time and stadium gate times, with Julian Torres singing the national anthem.

For Game 7 – again, if necessary – the ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Orel Hershiser, 36 years after his shutout in Game 7 of the 1988 NLCS defeated the Mets, which was the last time the Dodgers won the pennant in Chavez Ravine.

Other ceremonial first pitches this season for the Dodgers included Eric Karros and Reggie Smith prior to the first two games of the NL Division Series, and then Nomar Garciaparra prior to Game 5 against the Padres.

Manny Ramirez and Shawn Green threw out the first pitches prior to Games 1 and 2 against the Mets, respectively.
