NEW YORK (WABC) — The polls are closed in the Tri-State and Eyewitness News is keeping a close eye on several local races.

Millions of people across the country joined the more than 80 million who have already voted early or by mail to decide who controls everything from the White House to Congress to state and local governments.

All eyes are, of course, on the presidential race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. According to 538’s prediction, both candidates have approximately the same chance of winning.
