HOLLYWOOD– If you watch ‘Only Murders in The Building’, besides Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, there’s another name that regularly appears in the credits: Michael Cyril Creighton – and he’s become a fan favorite!

Creighton plays Howard Morris, another resident of The Arconia in “Only Murders In The Building.” He has now been part of all four seasons.

“Yes, I’m really lucky with it. I’m very grateful that the writers seem to have bought into what I’m good at, but still challenge me every episode,” Creighton said. “I’m kind of a 20-year-old overnight success. Every time I get a job I think, where did he come from?”

Creighton says on this show you know you’ll be acting with people who bring their “A” games. And it turns out someone in the cast informed him he’s getting an “A” too.

“Steve Martin once sent me an email that was very kind. It just said, ‘You are a beautiful comedian.’ And I said to my mother, “Steve Martin just wrote me a really nice email and sent me a really nice compliment.” And my mom said, ‘Are you lying?'” Creighton laughed.

Being a series regular is a big deal for this veteran actor. And then there’s this: he made it to the opening of the show.

“It was better than ‘You’re going to be a series regular. You’re going to be the cartoon in the opening credits,’ it was like a dream come true,” Creighton said.

“Only Murders In The Building” is now streaming on Hulu.
