ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) – FIRST ALERT 7 Forecast for Friday, November 8, 2024: After a soggy, cloudy start to the day, conditions will clear during the day with cool temperatures but plenty of sunshine later.

Highs in the region will be in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Midland/Odessa expects to reach a high of 62 degrees. The day starts cloudy, with gradual clearing as the day progresses. Winds will increase during the day with gusts between 10 and 20 miles per hour and gusts up to 30 miles per hour later in the day, especially over the Permian Basin. The rain showers we see this morning will move out of the area leaving calm conditions later this afternoon and evening.

Saturday will start a bit of a warming trend, with highs warming into the 70s on Tuesday. It looks like our next cold front will hit the region on Wednesday, but conditions with this front look to remain dry. After this morning, our chances of rain for the next ten days are nil.
