A Freeze warning applies to the entire region until Wednesday 9 a.m. This includes Auglaize, Butler, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, And Warren counties in Ohio.

It is also in force for Randolph, UnionAnd Wayne counties in Indiana.

The Miami Valley is experiencing its first wave of cold air this fall.

Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Ryan Marando TRACKS how cold it will get and when we see a warming trend this morning on News Center 7 Daybreak.

Wednesday morning temperatures will be around 30 degrees throughout the area.

If temperatures drop below 32 degrees, Morando said it will be the first official frost in Dayton, usually around Oct. 22.

In most remote areas it will be 32 degrees or even lower.

Sunshine returns Wednesday with highs in the mid-50s.

It will be chilly Thursday and Friday mornings, Morando said. We will see temperatures start in the mid 30s and night frost is possible.

Temperatures will slowly rise towards the end of the week.
