Game preview of Warriors at Rockets, November 2: how to watch, streaming, lineups, injury report

When we last saw the Rockets face the Warriors, a longtime Western Conference rival, Golden State effectively eliminated Houston from postseason contention late in the 2023-24 regular season.

That early April game was played at Houston’s NBA arena, Toyota Center, where the Warriors have had some big wins over the years.

But the Rockets (3-2) are off to a promising start in 2024-25, with three wins in their last four games. They would like to confirm that with a win on Saturday in that same building against an old foe, especially considering Golden State (4-1) finished one spot ahead of Houston for the last spot in the West play-in tournament last season . .

If the Rockets are indeed ready to make another leap, a win over the team that finished one spot ahead of them last season would make for a strong early-season statement.

For Houston, it’s the opener of a three-game homestand at Toyota Center, with visits from the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs on Monday and Wednesday, respectively.
