It wasn’t a quiet place for John Krasinski after Emily Blunt learned he was the sexiest man alive.

The 45-year-old “Office” alum teased that his wife was “very excited” by the news, and that she won’t be letting it go anytime soon.

“I think it will do me more household chores,” Krasinski told People in his cover story. “When this comes out, she’s like, ‘Okay, that means you’re really going to earn it here at home.’”

Blunt, 41, also had an update in mind for his interior: he planned to wallpaper their home with his new cover photo.

“Do we have that on camera? Because that’s some kind of binding contract, I guess,” joked Krasinski, who shares daughters Hazel, 10, and Violet, 8, with Blunt. “My kids will love that, it won’t be weird at all.”

The “Quiet Place” director added that “there was a lot of joy” in sharing the news with his other half of 14 years.

“It’s that beautiful thing: When you’re married to someone, you’re constantly learning and changing and evolving,” Krasinski said of their relationship. “And I feel so lucky to be able to experience all of this with her.”

As for how the “Jack Ryan” star — who took over the People’s Sexiest Man title from 2023 winner Patrick Dempsey — thought about adding another title to his resume?

“Basically just an instant blackout. No thoughts,” Krasinski admitted. “Except maybe I’m being tricked. That’s not the way I wake up and think, “Is this the day I’m asked to be the sexiest man alive?” And yet it was the day you did it. You have really raised the bar for me.”

Krasinski and Blunt tied the knot in 2010 and have been vocal about their relationship over the years.

In 2011, Krasinski confessed on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that he “wasn’t really looking for a relationship” when he first moved to Los Angeles, but Blunt quickly changed his view.

“Then I met her and I was so nervous. I thought, ‘Oh god, I think I’m going to fall in love with her,'” he shared, adding that their instant chemistry was undeniable. “It’s one of those things where as soon as you meet someone, you kind of know them.”

Blunt shared a glimpse into her marriage to Krasinski with InStyle in 2013.

“Meeting John really changed my life,” said the actress. “When I feel the support I have from him, I feel invincible. There is someone behind you on your good days and someone in front of you on your bad days.”

In August 2015, Krasinski told People that he would like Blunt’s ‘No. 1 fan.”

“It’s really we just got lucky,” he said of their romance. “It’s one of those things: I’m having more fun now than the day I met her, and it’s pretty wild.”

“I think when you dedicate your life to something like that, it changes everything. All the clichés are true,” the star added.
