How does voting work?

A press release from ABC explains how the winner of “Dancing with the Stars” will be determined.

Fans living in the US, US territories or Canada can vote at dwtsvote.abc.com. Fans with phones with US wireless carriers also have the option to vote via text message.

Voting begins when the live show begins, which is at 8:00 PM ET/PT or 7:00 PM CT, and closes shortly after the final dance, according to ABC.

Which cast members will participate in the finale?

The judges will be Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.

The most important show of the evening are the couples’ performances. Each will perform a “redemption dance,” assigned by one of three judges, and a freestyle routine.
