The Carolina Hurricanes (10-3-0) travel to Las Vegas to take on the Golden Knights (9-3-2) tonight at T-Mobile Arena.

The Canes are coming off a tough 6-4 loss to Colorado, while the Knights recently lost 4-3 to the Kraken in OT. Carolina had won 8 games in a row before meeting the Avs. The Knights have a record of 6-1-1 in their last 8.

Martin Necas leads his club with 23 points, Jack Eichel has 22 for the home team.

The Hurricanes had started the exact same group of 18 skaters for every meet this season, but that could change tonight. Tyson Jost and Ty Smith were both recalled from Chicago. I haven’t seen an official lineup for tonight’s game.

A report on Twitter stated that Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said before the game that Mark Stone will not play for the home team tonight.

Tonight they celebrate Veterans Day with a special ceremony.
