DETROIT — Jalen Rose and Chris Webber spent the day together Monday at the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy golf fundraiser.

Where is the meat?

Rose had an answer for that, standing shoulder to shoulder with his teammate at Michigan after a remarkable public war of words had taken place for years.

“This is action. How we stand up and break bread, and how we communicate, is nobody else’s business. We are here today. We are family for life,” he said.

Webber attended Rose’s event at Detroit Golf Club after the duo appeared with Fab Five teammates at a UM tournament in January.

“He’s my brother. I just support what he’s doing, what he’s done and what he’s going to continue to do,” Webber said.

Rose praised Webber’s Hall of Fame credentials as a player and the way young Detroiters admire him.

“I feel honored that he came,” Rose said.
