Jennifer Aniston ‘Bikini Body’ AI Deepfake Exposed by Influencer

Jennifer Aniston 'Bikini Body' deepfake exposed by influencer as AI scam to sell collagen

It’s scary to realize that we’re all living in a science fiction movie – and the movie we’re watching now shines Jennifer Aniston; Maybe she doesn’t know yet. A video of Aniston chatting animatedly has gone viral on Facebook Nicole Kidman about how she keeps her ‘bikini body’ in her 50s, but guess what? It’s one hundred percent fake.

The video, hosted on a wellness-focused Facebook page, apparently shows Aniston, 55, talking about how she’s changed her health and fitness routine to burn more fat — and in the process, “she” spews some seriously questionable science about the impact of carbs and cardio on her body as she ages.

The good news is that none of this actually happened! The scary news is that a lot of people will believe this to be true. Eagle-eyed Aniston fans will know that in the original clip, she was simply chatting about the acting process with fellow Hollywood favorites like Kidman, Naomi Watts And Sofia Vergara in one Hollywood reporter roundtable discussion from a few months ago. However, deepfake scammers have deleted the original audio and synced over it with an AI Aniston-like extolling the virtues of collagen supplements and crediting them with “why my body doesn’t retain fat.” The video – now deleted, but not before being viewed about a million times – exists, unsurprisingly, to sell supplements, and the voice sounds exactly like the Aniston we know and love. But, trust Usit’s not real!

Lucky you, British fitness influencer Ben Timmerman The deepfake was alerted to by a concerned follower who feared Aniston was spreading false information about the power of collagen. Carpenter, who often debunks questionable wellness content on social media, has done his best to set the record straight by explaining how the scam unfolded. Unfortunately, for the regular Facebook browser, the damage has already been done, and this may look legitimate. After all, Aniston is known for having a great body, why wouldn’t she share her “secrets”?

The fact is that in 2024, big stars like Aniston generally don’t really talk about how they “get” their bodies, because we all realize that it’s usually down to a blessed combination of great genes, pots of money and the pressure of doing work that requires impeccability and extreme discipline. And everyone knows that an entire generation of women grew up with terrible body image, thanks in large part to the skinny celebrity culture of the ’90s and ’00s. Unfortunately, those same women are likely the ones being targeted by this type of content on Facebook, and they love Jen. In the words of the concerned follower who flagged the deepfake: “She is revered by women of my generation going through perimenopause.” We weekly has reached out to Aniston’s rep for comment.

When it comes to a little black dress, Jennifer Aniston is a pro. Over the years, Aniston has showcased several variations of the classic trend at awards shows, press tours and beyond – so much so that it has become her signature. Whether cropped, floor-length, structured or deep, Aniston has proven to be a (…)

It’s true: every group chat with women of a certain age contains both endlessly Friends gifs and a lot of discussion about the benefits of collagen supplements when it comes to anti-aging – but while Aniston has spoken about the benefits of collagen for her skin and joints as a promotion for Vital Proteins, where she serves as Chief Creative Officer, the company insists that it is “not in the ‘weight loss’ business. Instead, we offer a range of collagen powders to enhance your daily routine.” Plus, after thirty years of being one of the most talked-about and most-watched actresses in the world, Aniston knows that there are some topics best left untouched, let alone in front of the camera with multiple fellow A-listers.

However, the robots disagree: they know there’s a lot of money in making it look like celebrities are sharing their “bikini body” secrets, and it’s pretty scary. We love that social media gives us a ton of juicy content from the stars we love — but this is a lesson in always asking where that content really comes from before you click “add to cart.”
