Khalid comes out after coming out: ‘I’m not ashamed’

Khalid talks openly about his sexuality and makes it clear that he is happy with who he is. In a series of X-posts on Friday, the American teenager singer confirmed he is gay after coming out on the platform.

“🏳️‍🌈!!! there you go. next topic please lol,” the singer first wrote, using the LGBTQ flag, before responding to a fan to confirm“I’m (gay)! And that’s okay.”

“I got out and the world is still spinning,” Khalid continued. “Let’s get this straight (lmao) I’m not ashamed of my sexuality! In reality, it’s nobody’s business! But I’m doing well 🖤.”

Khalid and Almonte’s team did not immediately respond Rolling stone‘s request for comment.

The R&B star was quickly defended by fans and fellow gay artists, including producers MNEK and Amorphous, who condemned Almonte’s posts.
