Lara Trump snaps as Charlamagne God laughs at her claim that Donald is not a racist

Lara Trump snapped at radio host Charlamagne tha God when he mocked her for claiming she had “never seen her father-in-law Donald Trump say anything racist.”

The RNC co-chairman, married to Eric Trump, was the radio host’s guest The Breakfast Club show on Monday where she was asked about her father-in-law by co-host DJ Envy.

“A lot of people think Trump is racist, and what do you say about that?” he asked her as the pair debated the former president’s treatment of the Central Park Five. Trump is being sued for defamation by the group of men wrongfully convicted of the 1989 rape of a jogger in New York City’s Central Park.

At the time, the real estate mogul purchased full-page advertisements in major newspapers with the headline demanding, “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY.” Trump has not apologized or retracted his statements.

Lara defended Trump during the 55-minute sit-down.

“I will say you have to look at a person and what he or she has actually done, and Donald Trump was really, really helpful to the black community when he was in the White House,” she said.

“I will say I have never seen this man say anything racist, I think the attacks are reasonable…” she added before being interrupted by Charlamagne, who was heard chuckling off camera.

Lara turned to the host and asked, “Why is that funny Charlamagne?”

“I’m just laughing,” he replied. “It’s hysterical. But I mean, people act like there’s no such thing as Google or that we don’t have TV and radio…’

Lara then challenged him to list some of Trump’s racist comments: “What do you think he said?”

In the editing, the show was limited to news footage of inflammatory comments made by the Republican candidate over the years.

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best,” Trump said in one of the 2015 clips. “They bring drugs, they bring crime, they’re rapists.”

Lara insisted: “This is a man who was loved by so many people in this country, and he was friends with everyone.”

Last week, Charlamagne interviewed Kamala Harris as part of her media blitz, and she agreed with him when he described Trump’s platform as “fascism.”

The vice president was also asked by a guest on the show what Harris would do specifically for black people if elected. Harris said in response that her life’s work has been helping the black community, including taking on issues such as black maternal mortality as vice president.

“The work I did was about focusing on my knowledge and my experience in my life,” she said. “Experience with knowing, the entrepreneurship that we have in the community, the ambition, the aspirations, the dreams, and then responding to that.”

She added that her work was not only about “making sure that we have one of the lowest black unemployment rates ever in our country, but also that we know that that should be a foundation, that everyone has a job and in which we have to invest. also builds wealth in the community.”

During last Friday’s show, Charlamagne criticized Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz. “I don’t think he’s trash, you know what I mean? But it’s like I don’t see the impact,” he said.
