Live game updates and highlights

Kansas State football hasn’t had much success in recent weeks under coach Chris Klieman, and things certainly didn’t go well the last time the Wildcats played at a high altitude for a Big 12 After Dark game.

So, can the No. 19 Wildcats (4-1, 1-1) reverse these trends against a strong Colorado team (4-1, 2-0) under the lights at Folsom Field on Saturday? They’ll have to do that to keep pace in what has been a wild and unpredictable conference race thus far.

K-State has lost its last four games after open dates, but had an impressive performance two weeks ago with a 42-20 home win over Oklahoma State. Before that, the Wildcats laid an egg in their Big 12 opener at Brigham Young, falling 38-9 to the undefeated Cougars.

Colorado, which like BYU was picked to finish in the bottom half of the conference, is on a three-game winning streak that includes Big 12 victories over Baylor (38-31 in overtime) and on the road at Central Florida two weeks ago (48-21). The Buffaloes have also said goodbye.

After getting a defensive stop, penalties put K-State back and Colorado has the ball back in Wildcat territory with 11:08 to go in the first.
