Basketball in Louisville kicks off today’s Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis against multi-state rival No. 15 Indiana.

The Cardinals (3-1) and Hoosiers (4-0) meet for the 22nd time in the opening round of the eight-team tournament at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas.

First-year U of L coach Pat Kelsey goes for win No. 1 against a big opponent at the helm; while IU’s Mike Woodson will look to earn his alma mater’s third straight win in a series led 12-9 dating back to 1921.

This year marks the first time since 2017-18 that Louisville and Indiana have met in back-to-back seasons. They met last November in the third-place match of the Empire Classic at Madison Square Garden; a game now mostly remembered by Kelsey’s predecessor, Kenny Payne, who said Woodson “cheated” him by using a zone defense to lead the Hoosiers’ late surge to a 74-66 victory.

The Cards play No. 4 Gonzaga of West Virginia in Round 2 of Battle 4 Atlantis. If they beat IU, they will play on Thanksgiving Day at noon. If they lose, they play at 2:30 p.m

On the other side of the bracket: No. 23 Arizona, Davidson, Oklahoma and Providence.

Here’s what you need to know to watch today’s match from home:
