It’s official: McDonald’s is extending its $5 promotion, so you can enjoy a full meal for just a few bucks.

According to CNBC, franchise owners voted to extend the $5 Value Meal in about 80% of local markets, with the deal now set to remain in effect through December. However, this isn’t the only deal consumers can find at McDonald’s. As CNBC added, restaurants will be offering more local deals and promotions throughout the fall, as well as even more discounts on the McDonald’s app.

In June, McDonald’s announced the $5 Meal Deal to encourage consumers worried about inflation to come back to stores and buy a burger and sides.

“We heard our fans loud and clear: they want more bang for their buck from us, and this summer, that’s exactly what they’ll get,” Joe Erlinger, president of McDonald’s USA, shared in a statement provided to Food & Wine at the time. “Value has always been part of our DNA. We’re focused on delivering on that legacy and providing delicious, affordable options that customers can enjoy every time they walk through our doors, go through our drive-thru or place an order through our app.”

The deal still includes the same goodies: choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, small fries, a four-piece Chicken McNugget and a small soft drink.

“Affordable prices and creating memorable moments is what McDonald’s is all about,” added John Palmaccio, McDonald’s owner-operator and chairman of the Operator’s National Advertising Fund, in the June statement. “As small business owners, it’s our responsibility to provide great value to our local communities when they need it most. The $5 Meal Deal is the perfect complement to the daily local deals customers can find in-store and on the app, like the 25% off any purchase of $10 or more I offer at my restaurants in Savannah, Georgia.”

Best of all, local franchise votes haven’t been finalized yet, meaning more will likely follow in the coming weeks. Also, don’t forget that McDonald’s Free Fries Friday is still going strong through the end of the year, and, as McDonald’s confirmed to F&W, it’s also offering a $0.50 Double Cheeseburgers deal on National Cheeseburger Day (Sept. 18), a $2 McCrispy sandwich in honor of National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day (Nov. 9), and $1 10-piece Chicken McNuggets between Nov. 4 and Dec. 2 (valid once per week during the deal period).
