In the back seat was a pigeon that he tried to give to Tyson, known for his racing pigeons at home, as a gift during fight week.

Fans stood still as a deafening, pulsating roar for Tyson echoed through the stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys NFL team.

Dressed in his signature black attire, he stepped to the ring with the same stern look he’s had all week.

More than £14.1 million was made from ticket sales alone, with one VIP group package including a ringside seat and photos with the fighters costing a whopping £1.6 million.

Boxing royalty Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Roy Jones Jr and Andre Ward were part of the television broadcast – and stars from Netflix shows such as Cobra Kai watched from ringside, along with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.
