A tearful Patty Morin expressed her frustration over Vice President Kamala Harris’ failure to provide direct answers during a hard-hitting Fox News interview, in which the presidential hopeful was pressed about the border crisis and whether to had to apologize to families devastated by migrant crime.

“I think so (we owe an apology). I think actions speak louder than words, and she has had almost four years to prove her mettle, and by her actions I would say she is putting illegal immigrants above American ones. people, and she allowed all these deaths to happen on her watch,” Morin said Thursday on “Fox & Friends.”

Morin’s 37-year-old daughter, Rachel, was found raped and murdered after leaving for a run in Maryland last year. According to reports, suspect Victor Martinez Hernandez, a resident of El Salvador, hid in a drainage culvert and attacked Morin as she passed him.

The high-profile case has since dominated conversations about border security as Morin’s family continues their quest for peace.

“I understand that loss (of a child), and it’s something that never goes away. Some days you’re fine, but there’s never a day that goes by where I don’t think of Rachel, I don’t cry for Rachel, that I don’t think about her children,’ Morin said, her voice breaking.

“I talk to people who have lost children, and they say the pain will never go away, that I will live with it for the rest of my life. It’s an unbearable thing. I want to feel happy again, and I don’t. ” I don’t know how to do that,” she said through tears.

In a tense interview that aired Wednesday during “Special Report,” Bret Baier pressed the vice president about the tragic deaths of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, Georgia nursing student Laken Riley and Morin, all young women who were attacked and killed by suspects entering the country under the Biden-Harris administration.

“Do you owe their families an apology?” Baier asked.

“First of all, these are tragic cases. There’s no doubt about that, and I can’t imagine the pain that the families of these victims have experienced because of a loss that shouldn’t have happened. So that’s true,” Harris responded.

She shifted her focus back to former President Trump, accusing him of allegedly torpedoing a bipartisan border security bill so he could keep the issue alive for political gain.

“It’s also true that if border security had actually been passed nine months ago, it would have taken nine months before we would have had more border agents on the border, more support for the people working around the clock to hold everything down. together to ensure that there will be no harm in the future, and this election in twenty days will determine whether we have a President of the United States who actually cares more about solving a problem, even if it is not in their political advantage is in elections because there was a solution,” she continued.

However, as Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy noted, Morin’s murder occurred more than a year ago, so the bill, debated in May, would not have made a difference.

“I think the only reason they tried to push through this border bill was to save face because they knew this invasion was happening on their watch,” Morin said in response to Harris’ response.

Morin told Doocy that she blames the Biden-Harris administration “completely and totally” for her daughter’s death and accused them of repealing Trump-era border policies.

“That policy was there. Mr. Trump had introduced them. And they withdrew them more out of spite for Mr. Trump, I believe, than anything else. And they have completely opened our border to a massive invasion of illegal immigrants like no other. ever seen in the history of our country, so yes, I fully blame them,” she said.
