This season, each team will have a new home pitch, especially for the Emirates Cup matches. Check out a few before the teams hit the floor tonight.

3๏ธโƒฃImportant storylines for tonight ๐Ÿฟ

  1. The 2024 Emirates NBA Cup, known last year as the NBA regular season tournament, starts tonight. All 30 teams have a chance to earn glory as they are divided into six divisions of five teams each, as well as their separate Eastern and Western conferences. If you would like a refresher on how the tournament works or would like more information, please visit our Frequently asked questions article or stay informed with our Emirates NBA Cup tracker.
  2. Joel Embiid is making his season debut after dealing with a knee injury and serving a suspension. Embiid and the 76ers will host the New York Knicks as part of East Group A in the Emirates NBA Cup. You can watch that match live on TNT at 7:30 ET.
  3. The Warriors want to stay warm against the Mavericks. Golden State jumped out to a 7-1 start, including a road win against the 9-2 Celtics, before falling to the Cavaliers. They quickly recovered and showed their start was no fluke with a win over the Thunder. They will host the Mavericks, who have lost their last two games in close games against the surging Nuggets and 8-2 Phoenix. Oh, and it’s also the return to The Bay for Klay Thompson.
