No. 2 Nebraska Volleyball Defeats Montana State

You knew it was going to be tough for the next opponents after the No. 2 Nebraska volleyball team lost to unranked SMU earlier this week, but those opponents have only tied one set in the six sets at the Husker Invitational.

After sweeping The Citadel on Thursday, the Huskers swept Montana State on Saturday afternoon, 25-19, 25-15, 25-10. NU is now 5-1 on the season.

The Huskers hit .400 in the game, holding the Bobcats to .128.

Harper Murray led all forwards with 11 kills, hitting .400. Middles Andi Jackson and Rebekah Allick combined for 13 kills, both hitting .500 or higher.

Bergen Reilly had 37 assists, tying Lexi Rodriguez with a team-high eight assists.

Nebraska stays home on Tuesday to host Creighton.
