NV Energy reports power has been restored to the more than 2,630+ customers in Carson City and Douglas County who were without power for nearly an hour.

The outages, located in the zip codes 89701, 89703, 80706, 89460 and 89705, started just before 9 a.m. on Monday.

The cause of the malfunction is unknown.
