ForbesNYT ‘Connections’ hints and answers for November 24

Hey, there! Welcome to the start of what will be a very short week for many of you. It’s just a regular work week for me, except I’ll probably be writing about some Black Friday deals during my other big gig in the next few days.

For no real reason, I’m going to let you in on a little personal secret. I’ve been using computers since I was a little kid, but I never learned to type. I did try a few touch training programs, but it never clicked for me.

So instead I spend a lot of time looking at my keyboard. I instinctively know where all the keys are, but I still need the mental reassurance that I’m more or less touching the right one.

This is terribly inefficient and causes me to make a lot of typos (I made four in this sentence alone). But it’s what I’m used to and I’m comfortable with my typing style.

My point is that you don’t have to do things exactly the same way as others to get the job done. I also hold pens in a weird way!

Anyway! Today NYT Connections hints and answers for monday november 25th are coming soon.

Play connections

Connections is a free, popular New York Times daily word game. Every day you get a new puzzle at midnight. You can play on the NYT website or Games app.

You will be shown a grid of 16 words. Your job is to divide them into four groups of four by discovering the connections between them. The groups can be things like clickable items, names for study participants, or words preceded by a body part.

There is only one solution to each puzzle, and you have to be careful when it comes to words that fit into more than one category. You can play the words in any order so you might see the connections between them.

Each group has a color code. The yellow group is usually the easiest to figure out, blue and green fall in the middle, and the purple group is usually the most difficult. The purple group often uses puns.

Select four words that you think go together and press Send. If you make a guess and you’re wrong, you lose a life. When you’re close to the right group, you might see a message saying you’re just one word away from the right group, but you still need to figure out which one to swap.

If you make four mistakes, the game is over. Let’s make sure this doesn’t happen with some tips and, if you’re really struggling, today’s information Connections answers. As in Word and other similar games, it’s easy to share results with your friends on social media and group chats.

If you have a NYT All Access or Games subscription, you can access the Connections archive. This includes every previous game of Connectionsso you can go back and play the games you missed.

Apart from the first 60 or so games, you should be able to find my hints for each grid via Google if you need them! Just click here and add the date of the game for which you need clues or the answers to the search query.

  • Purple group – associated principles in Chinese philosophy (EXPANSIVE, LIGHT, MASCULINE, YANG)

I didn’t have too many problems today, but unfortunately I didn’t play a perfect game. I extended my win streak to four. Here’s how I fared:

🟦🟦🟦🟦

🟨🟩🟩🟩

🟩🟩🟩🟩

🟪🟪🟪🟪

🟨🟨🟨🟨

I got the blues right away, but got into a bit of trouble guessing HOST, SCORE, FLOCK, and CROWD. SEA was also an option, and SCORE felt like the odd one out, so that trade gave me the greens.

Then I noticed the yellow colors on the half grid, but I sent the purple group in first, just because I could. I wouldn’t have had a chance to discover that connection.

That’s all it takes for today Connections clues and answers. Make sure to visit my blog for tips and the solution to Tuesday’s game if you need it.

PS I was very happy when I saw a new Franz Ferdinand video appear in my YouTube recommendations a few days ago. Such an excellent band.

I may be seeing them for the sixth or seventh time this spring (festivals included) and I’m really looking forward to it. Their shows are always energetic and great fun.

The song isn’t as catchy as ‘Take Me Out’, ‘Michael’ or my favorite of them ‘Do You Want To?’, but I still really like it:
