Douglas Luiz was due to get his second start in a row, but withdrew during the warm-up and was replaced by Khephren Thuram.

VfB Stuttgart has so far lost 3-1 to Real Madrid and drawn 1-1 with Sparta Prague in the Champions League, but is coming off a 4-0 Bundesliga defeat to Bayern Munich this weekend.

They have a very long injury list, including Chris Fuhrich, Dan-Axel Zagadou, Nikolas Nartey, Leonidas Stergiou and Luca Raimund.

In addition, Wahid Faghir, Justin Diehl, Ramon Hendriks, Nick Woltemade and Stefan Drljaca are not eligible for this competition.
