    The two-week matchup we all saw facing the Texas football team when the 2024 schedule came out is just around the corner: Saturday’s Red River Rivalry showdown in the Cotton Bowl against Oklahoma and then next week’s home game against Georgia.

    Most Texas-OU matchups tend to ignore the national rankings or point spread, but the Longhorns are favored to win by 14½ points. We all like Texas’ chances for a win, but what are our predictions for some of the country’s other top games, including the top five matchup between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Oregon and a top-10 SEC game between Ole Miss and LSU?
