Phaedra Parks is not the only housewife competing on Dancing with the stars — but she’s ready to be the first to win a mirror ball trophy.

“The Housewives haven’t done a great job overall,” Parks, 50, exclusively told We weekly on Wednesday, September 4, after he was announced as one of the celebrities competing on season 33 of the dance competition. “I want to break the curse because we can absolutely win.”

Parks collaborates with pro Val Chmerkovskiywho just achieved his victory in season 32 with his partner Xochitl Gomez. That energy is something that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star wants to profit from her own reality series.

“I want to show the world that Housewives can do more than just talk trash,” she teased. “We can actually dance.”

Fellow professional RHOA stars Kim Zolciak-Biermann And Kenya Moore have also vied for the coveted trophy. Rinna, 61, lasted the longest of all the Housewives, being eliminated in round seven of season 2. Moore, meanwhile, made it to week six of season 30 in 2021 before being sent home.

Parks told Us on Wednesday that she has not spoken to Moore about her casting DWTSHowever, she is excited to replace Moore RHOA for season 16 after Moore left in June. (Moore was accused earlier this year of distributing revenge porn photos featuring cast members Brittany EadyIn June she denied any involvement, but she was not asked back for RHOA(‘s coming season.)
