Nacua, who played in all 17 games in his debut season, was sidelined for several weeks during training camp after sustaining an injury during a joint training session.

He is coming off a record-breaking rookie season in which he set a new NFL rookie record with 105 catches and 1,486 receiving yards.

Nacua had four catches for 35 yards during his brief outing on Sunday.

Nacua, who burst onto the scene last year, has largely filled in for an injured Cooper Kupp for the Rams. Kupp, who had 14 catches for 110 yards and a touchdown on Sunday, is now the undisputed No. 1 WR for quarterback Matthew Stafford and the Rams. Veteran addition Tyler Johnson has a career-high 79 yards on five receptions and will likely continue to play a larger role.

After a nerve-wracking defeat, losing the 23-year-old Nacua for a month isn’t exactly the start the Rams were hoping for in 2024.
