Rapper Jaydes on the run after being accused of attempted murder

Underground rapper Jayden Yen Dumont, known by his stage names Jaydes and Evvls, has found himself at the center of a controversy after rumors surfaced that he is currently evading authorities over alleged involvement in an attempted murder.

The 18-year-old Florida artist, who began his music journey on SoundCloud in 2020 and rose to underground fame with singles like “Slugs” and “Scam Likely,” is accused of assaulting a young woman after she allegedly rejected his advances .

An Instagram account, ExposedJaydes, shared details of Jaydes’ ex-girlfriend, including graphic descriptions of the alleged incident. The victim reportedly said in messages, “He kissed me, and I pushed him away, said no to sleeping with him, and he came back with scissors and a box cutter and started stabbing me.”

The alleged victim added that she escaped to the bathroom and called 911, claiming Jaydes fled before police arrived. According to her account, she suffered injuries to her neck, arm and back.

Following the incident, Jaydes’ Instagram account, which currently has more than 100,000 followers, was wiped clean and contains no posts. Social media, most notably

Rumors have it that despite being 17, Jaydes claimed he was 16 to one of the 14-year-old girls, who he later met and allegedly interacted with him inappropriately. The incident caused significant backlash at the time and has exacerbated the negative reaction to the recent allegations.
