Ryan Reynolds doesn’t let Martha Stewart have the last laugh.

The Deadpool and Wolverine star, 48, responded to Stewart’s viral comments that he was “not that funny” off-screen as he appears on-screen in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, November 2.

After Stewart, 83, made the statement in November from Bilt Rewards Rent for free game show about Reynolds, who she said is her neighbor in Bedford, NY. Reynolds wrote, “I don’t agree with her. But I tried that once.”

“The woman is unexpectedly spry. After a kilometer or so she has really closed the gap,” he added.

During her Rent for free During her appearance, Stewart was asked by Bilt CEO and founder Ankur Jain which celebrities she thought respondents had named as the most fun to be around.

“He’s probably on the list just because he covers himself in his movies and you don’t see his face – Ryan Reynolds, is he one of them?” she asked, before adding, “And you want to know something?” He’s not that funny in real life. No, he’s not that funny. He is very serious.”

After saying that her personal choice would have been Brad Pitt and George Clooney – and mentioning Snoop Dogg and Taylor Swift, among others – Stewart admitted that she would “take Ryan off the list and I would put someone else in.”

“He’s a good actor,” the lifestyle guru further acknowledged about Reynolds. ‘He can be funny, but he’s not funny. Maybe he can be funny again… I’m going to get in trouble.”
